Practice Administrator – Omagh Office (MMJCA-0725-PA)

We’re currently seeking a Practice Administrator to join us at our Omagh office. This is a new position to support our continued growth and the need to expand our administration team across departments.

About the Role

As a key member of our administrative team, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing documentation for meetings and internal use
• Processing and managing data accurately
• Preparing reports and mail merges
• Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence
• Using software to record and reconcile payments
• Providing reception cover as needed
• Supporting multiple departments across the organisation as required
• Performing a range of general administrative tasks

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings:

• Proven experience in an administrative role
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• A collaborative approach and the ability to meet deadlines
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Experience in a similar industry is a plus, but not essential – full training and induction will be provided

The Person:

• Applicants should be ambitious team-players with a recognised accountancy qualification, and ideally 1 – 2 years PQE.
• Previous practice experience and a proven track record in delivering high quality services to clients are required, and an ability to apply critical thinking to complex issues will be an advantage.
• You will have strong IT skills across accounting and other commercial software.
• The successful applicants will need to be articulate, professional, have good IT skills and possess a real desire to succeed.

Tax Executive (part-qualified) (MMJCA-1124-TX)

We are an established and progressive firm of Chartered Accountants, with a wide range of corporate and non-corporate clients. Our area of expertise is offering proactive and timely professional tax advice. Due to the continued success of the practice, we are seeking to expand our team and are delighted to be recruiting a Tax Executive.

The Role:

• Assisting in the provision of tax compliance services to a diverse client portfolio
• Preparing and submitting personal tax returns
• Communicating and liaising with clients regarding their tax matters

• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes in tax legislation
• Assist in other tax-related projects as necessary
• Contributing to the overall success of the tax department

The Person:

• ATI/ ATT qualified or ACA/CTA part qualified
