Tax Specialist (MMJCA-1124-TS)
We are an established and progressive firm of Chartered Accountants, with a wide range of corporate and non-corporate clients. Our area of expertise is offering proactive and timely professional tax advice. Due to the continued success of the practice, we are seeking to expand our team and are delighted to be recruiting a Tax Specialist.

The Role:
As the successful Tax Specialist, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Deliver a high-quality compliance service as well as planning services such as IHT planning, CGT planning, other types of personal tax planning and corporate tax planning
- Deliver both compliance and advisory work to a wide portfolio of clients including individuals, partnerships and companies
- Provide a high standard of technical service to clients, ensuring accurate and timely delivery in line with client requirements
- Providing technical guidance to the team
- Ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Assist with tax planning and forecasting for clients, identifying opportunities to minimise tax liabilities and maximise tax relief
- Review and prepare personal tax returns
The Person:
- ACA / CTA Qualified: Hold professional qualifications such as ACA (Chartered Accountant) and/or CTA (Chartered Tax Advisor).
- Experience in dealing with complex personal tax issues and planning scenarios
- Strong technical knowledge of UK personal tax laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong IT skills
- Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented

Tax Executive (part-qualified) (MMJCA-1124-TX)

The Role:
- Assisting in the provision of tax compliance services to a diverse client portfolio
- Preparing and submitting personal tax returns
- Communicating and liaising with clients regarding their tax matters
- Assisting with tax advisory work for clients
- Supporting senior team members with complex tax issues
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes in tax legislation
- Assist in other tax-related projects as necessary
- Contributing to the overall success of the tax department
The Person:
- ATI/ ATT qualified or ACA/CTA part qualified
- Experience in dealing with personal tax issues
- Strong numerical and analytical abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all work
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- A commitment to personal and professional development
